No. You can see your child’s readings on sugardash at home while they’re at school. Their phone still needs to stay near their CGM or pump and upload readings over the internet. sugardash needs Wi-Fi, but it doesn’t need to be near them or on the same network.
Yes. You can follow the same person on multiple sugardash displays—for example, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. CareLink is the exception: each CareLink account or person can currently connect to only one sugardash.
Yes. You can mix supported CGM types on the same sugardash—for example, one person using Dexcom and another using FreeStyle Libre. You can follow up to six people.
Sort of. sugardash works on its own over Wi-Fi, but your CGM usually needs a phone to send your readings to the internet so sugardash can get them: CGM > phone > internet > sugardash.
You can set up sugardash right on the display. If you prefer, our companion app lets you set things up and snooze alerts remotely. CareLink is the exception: you’ll need a phone and our app for setup, then sugardash works on its own.
No. sugardash is designed to stay put and remain plugged in. A USB-C cable and U.S. wall adapter are included.
Yes. You can dim the screen at night or turn it off when you want a break from seeing your numbers. Audible alerts are optional and easy to mute or snooze, so you can decide how sugardash fits into your day.
Yes. sugardash can display glucose readings in either mg/dL or mmol/L. Choose your preferred units in settings.
