Home Screen Overview
- Clock Displays the current time based on your selected time zone.
- WiFi Indicator Shows the strength of the device’s WiFi connection.
- User Name The display name for the user whose glucose data is currently shown.
- Glucose Value The most recent glucose reading received from your CGM.
- Trend Arrow Shows whether glucose is rising, falling, or steady.
- Delta The difference between the most recent reading and the previous one.
- Countdown Bar Indicates how long until the next glucose reading is expected.
- Graph Button Opens the detailed glucose graph view.
- Settings Button Opens the Settings menu.
- Volume Control Quickly adjust sugardash volume and alert settings.
- Brightness Control Tap to adjust brightness or enable auto brightness.
Switching Between Users

If multiple users are configured on sugardash, you can easily move between them.
In single-user view, press and hold the screen to switch to the next user.
If you enable automatic cycling in Display settings, sugardash will rotate between users automatically.

Tap the Graph button in single user mode or hold the desired user in multi-user list view to open Graph View.
This screen displays a larger glucose chart with additional statistics.
You can select different time ranges by tapping the current range at the top of the screen: 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, or 12 hours
The statistics update automatically based on the selected range
These include:
- Time In / Out of Range How long glucose has continuously been in or out of your configured range.
- % In Range The percentage of time glucose stayed within your target range.
- Sensor Use The percentage of the selected time window where sugardash received data.
- Average Glucose The average glucose value during the selected time period.
To exit Graph View, tap the user summary card at the top of the screen.

You can quickly change the display mode from the home screen.
Tap anywhere on the screen to cycle between: Normal, Dark, or Screen Off

The brightness button on the home screen opens the brightness control menu.
This popup allows you to:
Adjust screen brightness using a slider
Enable or disable auto-brightness
When auto-brightness is enabled, sugardash automatically adjusts the display brightness based on ambient lighting.
System Volume Modes
System Volume Modes
The speaker icon on the home screen opens the volume control menu.
Volume mode applies to all users and all alerts on the device.
You can choose from four modes.
- Mute All alert sounds are silenced unless an alert has mute override enabled.
- Quiet Alerts play at a lower volume.
- Loud Alerts play at the maximum volume.
- Ramp Alerts start at a quiet volume and gradually increase until reaching the loud level or until the alert is acknowledged.

Snoozing Alerts
When an alert is sounding, you can acknowledge it by tapping the screen.
This starts the alert snooze timer.
If the alert is not acknowledged, it will automatically snooze once the configured Alert Duration has been reached.
